President

Jonathan leads the company’s strategic vision and growth initiatives. With over 25 years of executive experience in the data industry, Jonathan has played a pivotal role in developing innovative data platforms that support sectors including law enforcement, government, risk mitigation, and receivables management.

A mission-driven leader, Jonathan has served on a variety of boards ranging from land conservation organizations to international outreach efforts. His commitment to community extends beyond the workplace—he is the co-founder of a charitable organization dedicated to supporting families affected by adolescent leukemia.

Jonathan brings a rare blend of industry expertise, strategic foresight, and heart to everything he does at LocateSmarter.

Teri Ettelson
Vice President & Integrator

Teri brings nearly 30 years of experience in healthcare and nonprofit leadership to the LocateSmarter team. Her deep expertise in organizational strategy and project management plays a critical role in driving our continued growth and innovation. Passionate about values-driven leadership, Teri champions our commitment to integrity and operational excellence across every facet of the company. She is instrumental in embedding LocateSmarter’s core values into our culture and daily operations. Beyond her professional work, Teri has been an active member of several nonprofit boards and volunteers with students throughout Iowa, promoting financial literacy among high schoolers and empowering the next generation to make informed financial decisions.

Brandon Medlin
Director, Business Development,
and Strategic Alliances

Brandon leads the sales organization, strategic partnerships, and future growth initiatives at LocateSmarter. With more than 20 years of experience spanning leadership roles in the financial services and data industries, Brandon brings a well-rounded perspective to the organization. His background in operations, product management, and business development has been instrumental in driving LocateSmarter’s continued growth and innovation. Outside of his professional endeavors, Brandon co-founded a nonprofit dedicated to introducing youth to the outdoors and also founded an outdoor recreation company. He is also a patent holder, reflecting his entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to innovation.
